Sundays at Gambrell
Worship at Gambrell means gathering with people of all ages and nationalities to express our love for God our Father and Jesus Christ our Savior through the Holy Spirit. We hope that through visiting with us, you will experience the hope and joy that comes from a community of people who love the Lord.
Our goal is to love God and to love people.
“Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.”
– Psalm 34:3
Worship: Let’s Gather Together in Praise
Traditional Worship Service – 10:30 a.m.
We offer a traditional service every Sunday morning with organ and piano. Our focus is on Christ and on His word. We sing hymns of praise, read His word, confess our sins, and pray continually throughout the service. The sermons may be exegetical or topical depending on the series, but regardless of style, the message of the Gospel is always proclaimed. During this time, we come together as a family, knowing we are broken and worshipping the one who has saved us. Together, we are living sacrifices for God and seek to worship Him in all that we do.
Contemporary Worship Service – 5:00 p.m.
Our Sunday evening worship service is designed for the same purpose as the morning service, and that is to glorify Christ and stay focused on Him. In this service, we sing contemporary worship songs as well as hymn-based songs. We are led by a team of worship leaders in a praise band. The sermons may be exegetical or topical and are given by a rotation of preachers. We believe in training leaders to preach and teach and this is one avenue in which others have the opportunity to use their gifts. In this service, we sing, read Scripture, and grow in our knowledge of the Bible. Our hope with this service is to offer not only another opportunity to worship but to grow an appreciation for different styles of worship.
