ASK, AND IT WILL BE GIVEN TO YOU
THIS IS JESUS’ PROMISE—ON BEHALF OF THE FATHER
HE PROVIDES FOR OUR PERSONAL NEEDS
HE EQUIPS US TO SERVE HIM FULLY
HE RELIEVES ALL OUR WORRIES
IF WE RELY TOTALLY ON HIM
HE WILL DO WHATEVER WE ASK
IF—WE ASK ACCORDING TO HIS WILL
I John 5:14—This is the confidence which we have before Him, that,
if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
IF—WE ARE ABIDING IN HIM
John 15:7—If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you,
ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
IF—WE ASK FULLY TRUSTING—NOT DOUBTING
Mark 11:24—Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask,
believe that you have received them, and they will be granted you.
IF—WE ASK IN JESUS’ NAME—TO GLORIFY THE FATHER
John 14:13-14—And I will do whatever you ask in my name,
so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
WHATEVER DOES NOT MEAN JUST ANYTHING
HE GIVES WHAT WE NEED
HE GIVES WHAT IS BEST FOR US
HE GIVES WHAT FITS HIS PERFECT WILL
HE DOES NOT ALWAYS GIVE WHAT WE WANT
WHATEVER DOES NOT MEAN WHENEVER
GOD ANSWERS IN HIS OWN PERFECT TIME
NOT ACCORDING TO OUR HUMAN SCHEDULES
IF HE HAS NOT ANSWERED YET—KEEP PRAYING
PERSISTENT PRAYER DRAWS US CLOSER TO GOD
THIS IS PERFECT PRAYER
WORRY—ABOUT NOTHING
PRAY—ABOUT EVERYTHING
TELL GOD—ALL YOUR NEEDS
THANK HIM—FOR ALL HE DOES
THEN HE WILL—GIVE YOU HIS PEACE
AND HE WILL—PROTECT YOU IN CHRIST
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
