Summary of Ministry
Purpose
The Purpose of Christian Women‘s Job Corps (CWJC)®, a ministry of the Women’s Missionary Union (WMU), is to provide a Christian context in which women in need are equipped for life and employment and a mission context in which women help women.
Statement of Faith
The Wanda Helms Christian Women’s Job Corps – Fort Worth is comprised of Christian volunteers from churches of multiple denominations. All mentors and leaders agree to and support the following statement of faith:
- We believe in the Trinity – God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – and the Bible as the Word of God.
- Salvation comes through grace by believing in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God, our Savior and Lord.
- Once saved, the Holy Spirit indwells, thereby instructing, guiding, and empowering the individual to follow the mandate of Jesus Christ in daily living.

Vision Statement
To encourage the women attending to become the women God wants them to be by educating, preparing, and equipping them.
Mission Statement
To equip women for life and employment in a Christian context by:
- Encouraging spiritual growth
- Promoting financial independence
- Teaching career Development and Life Skills in preparation for employment and life
- Teaching ways to improve relationships with family, friends, acquaintances, and co-workers
