About Gambrell

To Love God and to Love People

One of our church members recently said "I visited many churches in Fort Worth before deciding to join Gambrell Street Baptist Church...What I found here were friendly people who loved the Lord and genuinely cared for me and my family.  the worship service was not a show, it was authentic and respectful of our Lord.  I've learned a lot about the Bible and my walk with the Lord as part of this wonderful group of Christians."

Our church has over a 100 year history of ministry in Fort Worth and around the world.  Together, we listen to God for an understanding of His will.  To give heart and mind and soul and strength to serve the King of Kings.

What We Believe

Jesus is the answer!

"For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life."  John 3:16

God loves each and every man, woman and child.  In fact, He has given Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus has provided the only way for us to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.  We could never earn our way to heaven by our own actions.  Instead we must place our faith in Jesus.

Have you ever come to the place in your life where you know for certain that you die that you will spend eternity with Jesus in Heaven?

You can have that assurance.  The Bible says, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13)

Sincerely pray the following prayer as the first step on your Christian walk:

Dear Jesus, I am a sinner and do not deserve to be with you in heaven.  Thank you for loving me and dying on the cross to save me from my sins I accept you as the Lord and Savior of my life.  Help me turn away from my sin and to follow you!  Amen.

If you prayed this or a similar prayer or have questions concerning becoming a Christian, please call Gambrell Street Baptist Church at (817-926-1785).  We would like to speak to you.

Leadership

All members of Gambrell Street Baptist church are called to serve Christ through the ministries of the church.  Our ministerial team is called to facilitate as we minister together.

Be shepherds of God's flock that is under your care, serving as overseers--not because you must but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not greedy for money, but eager to serve; not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.  I Peter 5:2-3
